Inherent mods
Why is a weapon with e.g. inherent 15^50 more expensive than the same weapon but with an inscription for 15^50?
I'd think that inscr would be worth more becase you can change them to the situation. |

Because of the rarity.
Weapons with inherent mods most often come with imperfect or undesired mods like +20% damage when health is below 50% or just 14^50. It is rare to get one with a good mod. |

The weapon itself is not as useful as one with an inscription, but due to the difficulty of finding a max inherent mod on a weapon with a popular skin, the market is very lively.

Side note: some items can't be got in an inscribable form, so the few of those that have useful mods can get quite expensive.

for example...a celestial staff does not come inscribable, and if im correct neither does a bo staff. thus making a 20/20 or a player modded one which would be 40/20 (swift mod) go for a BUTT load of ectos....so far i have a OS cel staff Q10 water(but 20/20 fire) and its not NEAR as much as a 20/20 gold fire bo staff(300-400ecto)
