The real question is why would you delete a GWAMM. If you get hacked then it's sad, yes. I don't know how you're going to link accounts if you're hacked, unless you magically get your account details back via your key codes as proof it's yours.

Where exactly do you see "magic" in getting ANet to restore access to an account by proving ownership? Hacker victims get their accounts back all the time. How else do you think the victims find out that the hackers deleted the characters and emptied out the storage?
Once the victim has the account back, what do you think will stop them from linking it to GW2? We know for a fact that the account view of the HoM still shows the recorded statues, minis, heroes, armor, and weapons of deleted characters. We also know that anything that has not yet been dedicated or recorded in HoM is lost if the character is deleted. We just don't know if GWAMM is actually recorded somehow or not, since there is no direct evidence of it in the HoM. |
