Two title questions
Couple of questions that i have:
Is it possible to get 50/50(account wide) if you have characters that have a mixture of titles but all are different and add up to the 50?(I like to use my warrior but it seems that my ranger has some titles that i hate grinding) For the cartography title, will I still get it even if I dont scrape the walls when Im vqing? |

For the carthography, I didn't do it myself, but I know you can have around 101,... % in all the campaigns. So I guess if you have been careful of taking some special zones that becomes locked (like ascalon arena) you don't have to completely scrape every walls to perfection. Some of them, you might need tought.
That's what I can say |

Your HoM is account wide, so it doesn't matter who has what. Your entire account will add up to 50 and you'll be fine.
Most Cartography stuff doesn't always require you to scrape every corner. There is always over 100% in each campaign/expansion, so you don't have to worry about that. |

HoM is account wide, so yes you can spread the titles among your chars.
Just for GWAMM you need the titles in 1 char. |

Getting 50/50 on the HoM can be done on a single character or spread out over several characters. For example, my warrior has something like 37/50 while my Rit has something like 27/50, and combined is something like 47/50. The missing points (mostly elite armour sets) are coming from my other PvE characters. |

No you do not have to scrape every single spot for cart.
However, since you asked about having a mix of titles on different characters, don't forget that to get legendary cartographer you you must have grand master cartographer for each of the three continents on the SAME character. So also for legendary vanquisher, skill hunter and guardian. Just don't want to see you get to 49/50 and realize the other 4 titles you need are split between chars. There's leeway in cartographer, but if you don't scrape the walls in every vanquishable area, that's a lot of uncovered map. And even little bits add up to a lot across an entire campaign.
Check out the wikis for their guides as stated above and good luck. |

To minimise scraping, you should use TexMod. That way you can see if you need to scrape more in certain areas or if you've cleared everything. Without it you'll generally be scraping all the time to make sure you get everything you need, but TexMod essentially confirms you've got what you can get.

You can get 50/50 account wide, in fact you pretty much have to do it like that if you aren't playing a core profession.
As someone who has VQed cantha and completed the Cartog title, Yes, you will most likely need to scrape just about every corner when you vanquish. There is about 2% leeway with this title and that INCLUDES special zones that are not accessible without Heart of Shadow. The best way to do this title is, as Marty said, use TextMod. I'm going to be using it while I vanquish Elona (when I get around to it). It isn't too much work anyway, it takes maybe an extra 5 - 10 minutes depending on the zone. If you think about it, 5 minutes vs not scrapping and going back AGAIN to scrape and have to kill crap. Wikis are also a useful tool, use them |
