Is Texmod ever going to be out of Beta? - Guild Wars Forums

I noticed my readme in texmod says beta still, is it still being worked on or is it just going to stay how it is?

IT probably wont. It was made over 2 years ago by mystical Chaos.
I doubt the dude even plays anymore. But man alot of guild wars players should thank this dude because they would've had one hell of a time doing cartographer.

A friend of mine apparently knows the guy directly and was told recently that due to the success of the program he might think about completing it in the future.
However it used to be the stand that he had gotten tired of working on it.
Btw, Texmod works with other games too, and is one of the widest used game modifiers used on Nudecreator.org

True, though - texmod is widely used to mod games without snazzy in-built apps. Guild Wars wasn't in mind at all when it was created, just a way of changing graphics client-side without interacting directly with the program itself.

The only thing i'd like to be added to texmod is the -bmp option then i'd actually use it to make/have a fancy UI.
Maybe he could release the source if he's bored of it, that would be the ideal solution.
Or maybe Argos will do a version of it seeing as it's pretty much done already in GWDressUp.

I still have this screenshotted, I just checked. Does this answer your questions?

If you wanna know if you got the right Texmod..... it's filesize is 597.287 bytes and its MD5 hash is 3a561b80cfba394a810d528d4c05dc7e. Get a program like QuickSFV to calculate MD5 hashes
