Easiest PvP Title for HoM? - Guild Wars Forums

Havent played in a long time and looking to finish my HoM, but I need a PvP Title and for some reason, Luxon / Kurzick doesnt count. And I cant afford Zaishen, whats the next best title to get?

Side Rant- Zaishen counts for a PvP title? sitting in temple buying ZKeys all day. Yup tons of PvP, when to even get luxon or kurzick rep you have to do atleast one Jade Quarry before you can farm it PvE style. Real logical.

I'd have to agree that Gladiator is easy if you can't afford Zaishen (which is the easiest)

lol, its not easy if you can't afford it. I agree with glad being the title that you should go for - if I ever work on my HoM again, I'll probably go for the glad title.

I still think Zaishen is easiest even if you don't buy a single key -- do JQ/FA and you can get Balthazar Faction and Imperial Faction which you can turn into more Balthazar Faction. Add in some daily Zaishen Elite and you should have 200 keys before you know it.

@Star_Jewel, I agree with star.

The new RA set up is indeed quick but it does take a lot of time to build points up unless you are experienced among a varity of characters to be able to switch depending on what a lot of people are playing, plus it's RANDOM so getting consec. win streaks that built the title in a quickly manner doesn't happen often unless you sync, get lucky and play with a decent team with a brain(seems rare), or end up playing a monk when monks end up being rare to find there.

Getting Zkeys is fast and easy, just play FA/JQ/AB and every 15k Imp Faction = 1 key, do the quick Zashien quest and sell 1 gold token for 3 keys etc.

Ooh, yeah, I forgot about Zaishen Coins. Now that they're tradeable, if one has an alt account, they can "farm" some of the easier Zaishen Quests for easy keys.

Additionally, PvPing in JQ/FA is easier now that you can play on whatever side is doing a better job.

Even if you don't have the money, you can still get r3 zaishen much quicker than glad 3. Imperial Faction and Hei Tsu have made making zkeys laughable.

Another tip for the zrank title. If you have a guild try to do some Guild Battles whenever there the GvG Zaishen Quest is up. A simple 1 win rewards you with 9k balthazar faction. If you're in a PvE guild just lower your rank and just take a simple to run build for your guildm8's. Surely you'll win some matches and it will boost your balthazar faction pretty fast

You don't have to do JQ to farm luxon/kurzick. You need 10k rep to get the quest done, which you can get entirely from doing like 6-7quests that you can find in the various faction outposts, and get the bounties at the same time. Even without bounties, there's over 10k worth of rep from quests alone(but some being annoying I'd rather get the bounties and skip the annoying), and you start with like 3k or whatever from having done the missions leading up to there. I have yet to do any pvp but I didn't have trouble befriending both the luxons and kurzick on an entirely new account without knowing the game, it took me about 5mins to find how on the wiki.

I'll agree that the zkey title is barely pvp though. You can get it entirely from farming UW for ectos and trading ectos for zkeys. It's definitely not very fast to get zkeys via zaishen mission/bounty/vanquish only but it's also doable, especially if you sell silver coins and buy zkeys.

imo it would be much quicker to uwsc or fowsc to get money and buy zaishen than to try and get good at pvp to get glad

It's very easy to quickly earn 5k Zaishen faction during the RA quest day.
In fact it's pretty easy to get 5k faction with the new Imperial faction system if you put a little time into it.

Trying to get rank 3 Gladiator's is just going to be an exercise in frustration and rage.

I'm not sure how syncing is any more legitimate than just farming the cash and buying Zkeys.

Zaishen is the "easiest" and will take <15 mins for the rank for HoM. You only need Rank 3 which is 1k points (1,000/5=200) 200 Zkeys are needed.

I'd like to see how you farm 200keys in under 15mins. Or the money for it.

This. Maybe it takes 15 mins to actually use up the keys, but I'll be damned if you can farm up the cash/keys to do that in any time CLOSE to 15 mins.
