Night Falls at Rank 5 Lightbringer - Guild Wars Forums

I just learned that the Source of Whispers won't accept my completed NM copy of Night Falls because I'm rank 5 (which sucks since I just spent a bunch of time completing four quests I was never going to bother with to do it.) Anything at all I can do with this, maybe just to get the gold reward? Or do I trash it?

(I was really hoping for the lightbringer points since no one accepts a r5 lightbringer in their pug, but I know that ain't happening.)

p.s. I'm also at r8 sunspear.

I'm sorry you can throw the book to bin. Stop doing books and start VQ, you'll max your carto, VQ, SS and LB.

Bin the book yes.

Also I am sure you are wanting to do DOA, well all I can tell you is get yourself in NM pug groups, rank 5 is more than enough unless the people forming groups are complete twats.

It will not take long at all doing DOA run to max LB rank, I think I got my imba to r8 in three days

I did and did things right on my main character. Hard for me to remember these things when I'm doing it on a second character.

When I VQed nightfall on my main, my lightbriner did shoot up fast so that's sound advice. I was hoping for more of a quick fix on my Rit since I hate doing those things twice. Wanted to turn in the book fast to get into those DoA pugs.

People are complete ----s. I'll keep trying though. I know if I can start doing DoA runs, you're right, I'll get there fast. It's just finding a group to take me.

1) Do all HM missions and than hand the book to the LB guy. (Some of them appear to be hard, but they aren't, e.g. to beat Gate of Madness simply bring snare, Shadowsong and Displacement)
2) VQing Kourna and Istan is the best way to max SS, but if you really don't want to VQ, have a look here and hope some farm will suit you.
3) Start doing DoA frostway as DwG.
