another question in my new man to the game thing.
im in one of the major towns and i see the talk going on betwixt players stood in a group, looked to be two guilds.given the level of articulation on display i reckoned they were all around twelve years old, untill a rather nasty spate of what could only be referred to as racist bile began to emerge. im wondering what the games policy is towards this kind of thing, other online games that i have been involved in (albeit briefly) tended to come down on this behaviour like a ton of bricks.is there a view by the moderators on this or is that just the way it is? just curious really. cheers |

For the most part, Anet has the same policy towards such language/verbal abuse as other MMOs out there (imo, since I haven't really played other online games >.<).
There is a handy report feature in-game if you happen to run across players being deliberately racist/lewd/etc: http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki//report Some of the large gathering towns you'll run across in the course of the game have become hotbeds of inane/inappropriate players -- Shing Jea Monastary in Factions, for one. Chances are there are or were some players in the town who also noticed these kids and likely reported them...but you don't get dinged by Anet for being proactive and also reporting them. And if you are lucky, you may get to see someone Dhuumed ^_^ |

FYI, the places you'll most likely see juvenile/offensive/trolling behavior are:
I applaud anyone who takes the time to report these idiots. But often these places are so infested that I just can't be bothered reporting them all the time. |

Which gate are you trying to go through? The one in Seitung Harbor that leads to Zen Daijun? That's the gate to the explorable area, and you won't be able to go through there until you complete the Zen Daijun mission.
Your next Primary Quest ("Looking For Trouble") should be available from Brother Pe Wan, who stands just inside Seitung from Saoshang Trail. That quest will lead you out into Jaya Bluffs, where you will be led on a quest chain that takes you through Haiju Lagoon. Master Togo is waiting for you at the end, near the portal to the Zen Daijun outpost (if you have the quest). |

pe wan is there but he has no quest for me,and togo is still in the monastery.
i have the feeling ive stuffed up the quests somewhere along the line, which means i'll have to delete and start again.oh well hey ho! doesnt take long to get levelled up in factions and ive probably got a better notion of how to play an assassin now. cheers edit; i went to haiju lagoon and su is nowhere to be seen.i did play a portion of the game having worked 4 nights straight and 3 days of nieces and nephews staying over so ive probably borked it somewhere along the line! cheers Last edited by leonn56; Oct 31, 2011 at 11:31 AM // 11:31.. |

Dont delete the character because of that. It probably means you already have the quest in your acive listing. Press the L key ingame and you can see the list of open quests in your log. At the top you should have a Primary quest. Select and follow that and you will be back on the normal storlyine.
P. S. If you are still looking for a guild but are still worried that some of them take things too seriously you can always start your own guild. Alternatively I can send you an invite to one of my mule account one man guilds and give you free reign with the guild (Ill stay guild leader, but you would be an officer which means you have the power to invite your friends) untill you feel you want to join an active guild / start your own. I wont interfere at all as I only use that account for storage when my main account is too full . If you need help starting a new guild just for yourselves or want to take up my offer, then just shoot me a PM here . |

As Rushin said, don't delete your character. It's actually very hard to irreversibly "screw up" a character in this way. Really, the only reason you would ever need to delete a character is if you hate the primary profession or you completed a non-repeatable quest that you want to farm on that character. Everything else can usually be changed or fixed.
You might want to consult the wiki list of Factions Primary Quests and Missions. Find what you last remember doing and read your way through to see where you need to pick up. Unless, as was mentioned, your Primary is sitting there waiting for you in your Quest Log. Good luck. |

You need to go out here: and see if Zho and the other NPCs are standing in Sizhou Hall with a quest for you. If not, you need to go here: and look for NPCs, to pick up a quest from Su. |
