Fastest way to power level from lvl 1 to lvl 10? - Guild Wars Forums

I need to power level several toons to lvl 10, so running them to Drok's is not a viable option. I have access at and near Lion's Arch, Kaineng Center and Kamadan. I saw references to "courier" quests at KC and a guide for leveling at D'Alessio Seaboard, but could not find either in many searches. Once I reach level 10, I can access EOTN and go boxing!!

By the way, is anyone else having major lag and loading issues with this site when going from thread to thread? I keep having to hit refresh to get a page to finally load...

I would really appreciate some good advice on this!!

It may not be the fastest way, but you level very quickly simply by playing through factions. You only need 39,600 xp. Factions is designed to level you up quickly so do some of the big xp quests and you should be fine.

PS: Guru runs fine for me.

Nightfall is also hell of a quick to level up in. And for me personally, a lot more fun then Faction or Prophecies.

d'alessio is fastest.
just go to unpop server sit at gate through first wave then repeat till 10

Exit Lion's Arch, turn left, keep going straight until you can make another left turn and you will be at D'Alessio Seaboard.

Find two empty districts, then run to the gate in the large wall the undead are running towards and stand still until you don't get anymore experience, zone and repeat.

If someone is in the district already, then it's best to rezone as this trick only works on the first wave of monsters and you won't know what wave the city is on.

I found fastest way to be from getting from Elona to Cantha quickly by ferry, then do quests in Bubek Byway. Just add a full party of henchmen and they will take care of the few enemies you will encounter. I leveled to 10 in less than an hour after creation and to 20 in another hour in EotN.

Didn't D'alessio get patched? Every time I go, the NPC's never attack.

Yes. I could have sworn I recalled reading it in some patch notes a while back, but darned if I can find it now. Wikis are claiming it was in the 11/17/11 update, but #1. it's not listed in that update's notes, and #2. I tried evening up some characters' experience around Halloween time by using an empty D'Alessio -- the NPCs just ran around aimlessly. So I'm thinking this fix went in way before 4 days ago.

To the OP: I think the quests around Kaineng will level you up pretty quickly. Activate "Seek Out Brother Tosai" and you can run back and forth doing those Wajjun Bazaar quests without much difficulty.

I use jap/Chinese district, it only works for the first wave and you have to be the first person in the district, will check later if it was patched but I'm pretty sure it still works, last time I used it was only a couple weeks ago at most.

I always pretty much play Nightfall until 10 by soloing the quests around Plains of Jarin and grabbing the bounty bonuses. Grinding other ways is boring, and I can't stand not having heroes while starting through Factions.

Then I just do EotN/Punch-Out til 20
