When will the last part of WoC be released? - Guild Wars Forums

It's been about 2 months, will it come out this year?

I'd say before Canthan New Year, but after Wintersday.
They must hurry with Beyond. There's still whole new content for Elona missing as well as some minor things. GW Beyond is a bridge between GW1 and GW2, so it all must be before GW2 comes out.

Also as you can notice, they're too bussy with something to announce Wintresday which should start on about 16th, so they're probably working on WoC hardly.

As already mentioned:

When it's ready. Presumably, this iteration of GWB is taking longer due to the feedback received about the difficulty and problems of the first part, and Anet is in the process of re-vamping further releases.

If I recall correctly, GWB-Elona is not definite. I think only Tyria and Cantha were "guaranteed" to have Beyond content. Elona would come if time and resources allowed for it.

Their 'to do' list is long enough anyway, I was wondering how would they make it all before GW2.

Because Winterday is a Tyrian holiday. Cathans do not celebrate it. I think it would be too much to ask players to split up their time between the festival and new content.

Agreed, ppl want to fully enjoy festivities as well as the new content. This would downgrade both wintersday and WoC.

After all these years you just have to look and see anet aren't great with release schedules even of they give one. All you can do is try not to hold your breath.

He/She was just asking for conversations sake. Whats with all the "When it comes out/We don't know" smartass remarks?

This thread should remain open. I for one am glad that it was posted because I was wondering about this myself or that maybe I had missed something.

As i read back I did not really see "Whinging" all i see is people giving their opinions on when they think it will come out.

Your right though Answer is we dont know but people like to speculate as do I.

I see no reason for this to be closed for now unless it spirals out of control.

This thread will probably get closed because its a topic which only anet/ncsoft knows the answer to.Also probably the mods will say the topic should be on the gw2 area and not gw1.
I hate to think how many threads have been started in the last 2 years asking the same question which after a while gets boring as hell.
Bottom line - we wont know untill anet "Releases a Date" , it could be 2012 or 2013 or any day inbetween.
