Completing Chahbek Village as a non-Nightfall character - Guild Wars Forums

I'm playing through Prophecies and Nightfall with a Tyrian character. I'm now in Droknar's Forge in Prophecies (with bonuses complete through Dragon's lair) and in Vabbi in Nightfall. I'd like to earn the "Protector" title as I complete the final mission in both campaigns -- it would just seem so anti-climatic to have to travel back to mop up some of the very first missions to tick the "Protector" title box. And that's the difficulty I'm having right now with Nightfall. I know I'll have to work with other players that have Master of Whispers to complete some of the forks in the mission paths, but I'm also having trouble completing the very first missions.

I travel to Chahbek Village, but don't see a way to begin the mission, and the corsair ships look as though they are already sunk. I know it has to be possible to complete the mission as a non-nightfall character, but I haven't figured out how. Any tips?

On a similar note, for Jokanur Diggings and Blacktide Den, my guess is that I will have to land-travel to those locations to access the mission. But if there is anything that needs to be done in order to make the mission accessible, I'd love a heads up! Thanks.

just talk to the guy in the village and ask to do the mission.

I'm pretty sure that I have talked to everyone in the village, and no one gave the option to do the mission.

Ok....firsts firsts. Just go to Chahbek Village there should be a guy that gives you the mission. Also Koss needs to be in your party for you to start it.

One additional clarification note: to get to Churrhir Fields talk to Second Spear Binah, located in Kamadan.

..and yes the wiki is also a great first-step research tool

Thanks everyone. I had read the wiki page on the mission, but was thrown because I am pretty sure I spoke to everyone in Chahbek Village. Looks like I missed someone. Thanks again for the pointers!

To get to Chabek Village, talk to the NPC beside the southern gate of Kamadan, which takes you to Churrhir Fields. Go east through Churrhir Fields, and over/around the ship in the middle, then straight past where the Warriors and target dummies are and talk to the NPC standing just outside the gate. That will get you into Chabek Village itself.

In Chabek Village, the NPC will have a standard mission symbol over his head and be beside the gate near the henchmen.
