Hey a few questions - Guild Wars Forums

I havent played for a couple of years, and 2 days ago thought id see if i could still get into my account, upon getting in and loading up my level 17 pre searing char i thought damn i gotta play again and get my LDoA and then Carteographer afterwards!

im probs going to continue with death leveling rather than doing the daily quests as i started and i shall finish with the death leveling!

right my questions are, does anyone know if GW is going to be phased out when gw2 comes out or they going to continue running the servers?

next question, is it still possible to run from ascalon to Droks and LA? because years ago i know they made it hard and alot of warriors couldnt do it, then they brought out the assasins with SF and dervish with running skills,

the only reason im looking for runs when i get my LDaO is to get my heros as the towns are not as populated as they used to be, and heros is handy with henchies

-Anet says the GW1 servers will continue to run after the GW2 launch for as long as people are still interested in playing it. This could potentially be years.

-Runs are reasonably simple these days. As you mention, there are certain assassin and dervish skills that make previously troublesome runs fairly easy. Droks is a pushover compared to what goes on nowadays.

problem is im getting the bug but cant play as much as i used to due to work, so would be a hour or 2 nightly lol
