do heroes of the same profession behave the same?
http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Hero
In the "Choosing by profession" section, it goes into detail about how one should carefully choose a particular hero depending on the party's needs. But if two or more heroes have the same primary profession, and are controlled by the computer, won't they generally behave the same? Or do each of them "specialize" in a particular aspect of their profession? Last edited by kevin32; Sep 26, 2012 at 07:21 PM // 19:21.. |

That section is for choosing which hero to recruit based on which *other* hero you have to trade off. It has nothing to do with their AI.

It all depends on their skill bars and the skills that are loaded. The best thing to do is check EACH indiviual skill bar on each hero, compare the skills and from there make what ever changes you want to make.
Open your skill panel hot keyed to "K" and then click on each hero to see what their skills are. Hope this helps a bit. |

I think I know what you mean, and the answer is yes.
For example, it doesnt matter if you load a N/Rt healing bar on Master of Whispers or on Olias, they will both use it the same. |

That article seems geared towards players new to heroes in general. It's discussing those heroes as if they have access only to their starting skills. This and that article's ambiguous wording seem to be the source of your confusion.
I think that you mean what jensyea's thinks you mean, and if that's the case, the answer is yes. |
