Default A question of graphics

Hey, I just bought the Guild Wars preorder today and I've been looking at the main site. I took a look at their system requirements and was wondering... Will my laptop, a Compaq Presario 2135us with a "ATI MOBILITY RADEON AGP 4X and 3D architecture graphics and 64MB shared video memory" play guild wars? If so how well? I was just wondering, thanks.

Cool

Guildwars recommends and quote ...

"ATI Radeon 9000 or GeForce 4 Ti Series Video Card with 64MB of VRAM"

The ATI Mobility or M4 series has 64mb of virtual memory entails that it does meet the requirements for the recommended settings of virtual memory. As for your second question ... and quote from ati

"ATI's MOBILITY M4 fastest 2D & 3D performance is a direct result of its dual-piped, 128-bit, Super-Scalar rendering architecture, which processes two pixels for each clock cycle"

It is an older card though so you have to give yourself a sense of reality ...
if your mobile has decent memory itself and you have a broadband you should be fine. As always, playing the latest game with the best top of the line graphics accelerator is a dream, yet if the developers geared there game strictly to that then they would only sell a small percentage of games.

For additional benefits you can always say utilize maybe atitool
