Runes Question. - Guild Wars Forums

I have a few questions on the usage of runes. Yes or no responses will be fine.

1. If I have rune 1 on my helmet, and decide to put rune 2 on my helmet instead, will rune 2 be in effect?

2. If I have rune 1 on my helmet, and decide to put rune 2 (SAME AS rune 1) onto my leggings, will both runes on helmet and rune 2 be in effect?

3. If I have a Vampiric Hammer, and apply a cold damage upgrade, will it take away the vampiric abilities?

1. Yes, but Rune 1 will no longer be in effect.

2. No, only one Rune of a type (Marksmanship, Vigor, Fast Casting, etc.) can be equipped at a time.

3. I'm not 100% sure, but I think so.
