Staff Upgrades: What kinds? - Guild Wars Forums

What kinds of bonuses do Staff Wrappings and Staff Heads give? I have only seen Staff Wrappings that have armor bonus and a staff head with health bonus, what else is there? I am hoping there are some with Fire Magic bonuses, larger health bonuses, energy storage...things to help an Elementalist. If anyone knows of a website that has a list of such things, that would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't heard about any upgrades for ingle handed magic weapons. Wands, Canes etc. Do they exist?

i've had a few staff wrappings of enchantment (11% longer enchantments)... can't remember what else i have in my stash but i'll have a look.

for energy storage i guess you'd need to find a rune of energy storage as opposed to staff upgrades. you can get health bonuses on Vigor runes. and i have a feeling i have a weapon upgrade with +20 health but not sure if thats for a staff or not... probably is though, seems i only ever find staff upgrades

edit: I have:
Staff Wrapping of Fortitude (+20 to health)
Staff Wrapping of Defense (+4 to armour) x 2
Staff Head of Defense (+4 to armour)
Staff Wrapping of Enchanting (Enchantments last 11% longer)
and 2 staff wrappings that add 10% damage but they both have different names...

I have a Fire Staff, DMG 10-19...

It also has a small (8% chance) to recharge skills faster. No biggie.

BUT - I added two beautiful upgrades.

Hale Staff Head = +30 Health
Staff Wrapping of Fortitude = + 21 Health

So total of plus 51 health! Combined with my Major Vigor Rune, I have plus 91 to health!

It's so nice, but I wonder if there are better ones available?

That's awesome. I also have a Hale Staff Head, but it only gives +10 health. My Staff Wrapping of Fortitude however, gives +22. I hope I find one of the +30 staff heads.

spiritofcat -- I heard something interesting about Wands and upgrades: someone said that the upgrade for a wand is that you can carry an artifact in your off hand, seems reasonable...hope this clears things up.

I've got 3 staff wrappings.
+20 health
+21 health
and the last one literally has nothing on it. Staff upgrade item, no stats or nothing. So very confused on this one...

Yeah, I've got one of those too; just says "Staff Wrapping". No stats. Weird.

You can carry an artifact in your off hand when using a sword too, but they get hilts and pommels.
