Default Which is the best class combination?

I already have a hunter that I really love but I'm curious about which class combination is the best. When I say best, I mean in regards to the following:

a. Ability to tank easier and take down large groups faster.

b. Ability to farm for gold easier and faster.

c. Ability to get the best armor in regards to dmg and appearance.

Just curious.

A. Warrior is the best tank, but Elementalist can take down large groups faster.

B. Warrior or Elementalist would both do a good job here.

C. Best armor in regards to damage is Warrior. In regards to appearance, though, is all a matter of opinion.

Well so far I think I have played almost everything to 10 or so, yes a lot of deleting and starting over to try things out. In my opinion the best farmer would be an Ele/Monk with roughly a 10 Fire Magic, 10 Energy Storage, and a 10 Healing Prayers. Aura of Restoration and Healing Breeze on yourself right before combat, then charge in an Fire Storm, Lava Font and a few Flares for good measure and you can take out almost any group of 4-10 (Depending on your lvl and the mobs) very quickly, while the Aura and Breeze insure you surviving the fight.

a ranger armor are far better than warrior's in against elemental damages... see, it is all about what you want to do... there are no best of everything... they come with a cost =/

Sounds like you are looking for a Warrior dude.

Tank+Damage+Cool plate armor or something. Pretty much a generic RPG fighter.

If there were a best class combination this game wouldn't be any good.

In regards to point a. you can't have the best of both worlds. Best tank is warrior best area damage is elementalist. And combining the two won't work either there is a mana to armor trade off there.

There is really no "best" class. The game is balanced. In all seriousness, I'd say take a smiting monk. A good smiting monk is MUCH better than a warrior. In my oppinion, Smiters kick ass. (try Mo/W, I suppose). You could also try Ranger, and use a lot of stances to survive longer, or, of course, take Warrior for the good armour vs physical. The other classes (with the exception of a well-built geomancer) are pretty aweful at tanking (but can either cause a lot more damage or have other ways of shutting attackers up).

My thoughts exactly. Either that or an Elementalist...

Intriguing... this is definitely the first time I've heard that point of view expressed.

I'm a Smiting Monk advocate as well, though trying to go toe to toe with a good Warrior/Monk is not necessarily a wise decision...

my warrior/elementist does pretty good for taking down groups.
Fire storm, run in and slaughter them easily. If they have good defense against physical i just use flare...
Just lacks being able to heal

Go Warrior/Monk, I think it's the best PvE toon there is. You got sprint and innate high Armor Rating. With Smite you can do mad amount of damage and monks has a skill that regens your energy when you get hit. Look up Warrior/Monk it is what you are looking for.
