Recently got to Droknars after an excessive raping, but now I'm stuck on which armor I should buy. I'm lost on how much the damage reduction helps and if it only works against some attacks.

The threads I searched about it said it does about -2 DR, so that would come to -10 DR with the full set. Could someone clarify if the DR works on all attacks?

Heard someone say that Knight's is for balanced armor against all types of attacks and that Plates are for pure melee. Is this true?
