Red face Hunting for Dragonswords.

Hiya

As there are no "Dragon Axes", that's why I'm searching for a Dragonsword.
The problem is, where do I hunt for them ?
I've heard that you may find some in Droknar's Forge.

Thanks in advance!

I have seen a few people with those and on guy said he "looted the corpse" of one of the npcs that have them. Is this possible to loot a corpse and if so How?

That would be called... a lie. If you're new, don't trust someones word until you see it with your own eyes. Suggestions, and Q&A's are perfect... but don't ask people in-game or believe everything they say. They'll do whatever they can to "look cool".

As far as I'm concerned, "looting a corpse" is the same thing as getting a drop.. just a difference in terminology. Its just that there are several games that that you don't just have the enemy drop items as they die, but you have to literally search the bodies for items.

I want one, but can't afford them. Right now I'm using a brute sword 13-19 damage. +11% damage when healths above 50%. I suppose it's not all that bad.

I just don't like the way it looks. Resembles a giant pan-cake flipper.

Seems they'll drop anywhere from the crystal desert on. I got a blue 15-22 off of some giant-type (forget the name) creature in the southern shiverpeaks.

Yeah they are also a good way to get killed in PvP. Many a time I have heard a group say: 'Kill the fool with the dragon sword'.
Next to having the class MO/ it's best not to be the number 1 target.

Yeah I don't really get the love of the dragon sword. Felblade looks much better and also the dragon sword does fire dmg which is pretty much the only resistance anyone ever gets sense all the elementalist out there are pretty much pyro.

i looted one with my monk off the first or second hydra i killed, and now use it on my lvl 10 warrior...it's a decent sword if you're level 10 or so, but i'm sure i'll have something better by the time i'm 20.

while we're on the subject of overrated weapons...how 'bout the crap ithas bow? i rolled a ranger alt and he was using a better bow by lvl 6! thanks for the pre-order item anet
