How hard is it to get one. Our guild leader says he is still trying to do so. Wanted some of us to donate what we could gold wise so could get the skills to do the fight(s) required. Is he full of %^$? I'm thinking of pissibly switching but don't know if I should even worry about it being only level 9.

That seems a bit off to me to be asking for gold for skills and such...im not saying that he isnt using or his intentions arent to use it for that...but he shouldnt have to be asking for gold for skills if he can fight there he can make plenty enough gold to buy skills on his own. skills arent that expensive.... I would think if he was that worried as a guild leader he would spend more time helping the lower lvls catch up so he can take a guild crew through the HoH to win sigil for guild hall...not only this but it would increase the guilds chance to recieve a sigil if more guild members are in the grp(sigil is random drop). I wont say it is easy (wasnt for my guild but it was fun eheh) but its not anything i could see asking for gold from my guild to help buy skills Keep in mind im not saying that donating to guild funds for cape/sigil ect are wrong. I encourage all members of the game to help support their guilds as much as possible

If your leader is not keeping you fully informed why remain in that guild? Mine keeps me well informed.

I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for contributions for a guild hall. Not all guilds will be capable of competing against the powerhouses that often dominate those Hall of Hero arena matches, so naturally the only resort for a casual playing guild is to buy a Celestial Sigil. If your guild leader somehow thinks that he will be the championing hero for the guild and win one, if you feel comfortable with this then go ahead and donate...

However, the contributions must be voluntary because you desire to help the guild you are in. If you feel that you are being pressured to donate, then I suggest you leave your guild and find another. I don't know about other guilds, but being in my guild means more than just wearing a cape (Which, btw, does not sport any flames and I paid for entirely myself at level 9. )

I spent the entire evening last night helping out a new guild mate get to Yak's Bend. I've seen the same areas of the map countless Times getting less experienced mates up to speed and helping them with small upgrades to survive battles. I do this because I enjoy getting people caught up. The faster they catch up, the more likely they will be contributing members of the guild. I received a nice 15-22 wingblade from a guildie who I initially helped out a lot but has since surpassed my highest level character. I did not ask him for this, he gave this up on his own accord. I am not planning on customizing it either, for I believe that some day I will hand this down to someone else.

So contribute to your guild if you feel good about it. If you don't, then I really suggest finding allegiance where you feel more comfortable.

Nechronius....

Read the original post; Mistress Chiana stated that her guild leader was asking for gold to purchase SKILLS to complete the necessary battles to obtain a sigil.... NOT for gold to buy a guild hall....

I agree with everything you wrote in your post Nech, it just doesn't apply to this situation. What that guild leader is requesting... is ridiculous.

If that is really what your guild leader asked for, my suggestion is to find a new guild. Your leader is apparently out to make a profit off his/her members, or doesn't have a clue as to how to obtain a sigil.

Neo Renegades is currently recruiting... contact me in-game if interested.

We use Teamspeak, and are currently building our guild up for pvp. We have been playing another mmo together for a long time (Planetside), and are devoted to "enjoyable competitive gaming". Hope to hear from you.

"If your guild leader somehow thinks that he will be the championing hero for the guild and win one, if you feel comfortable with this then go ahead and donate..."

Meaning if the leader believes he can win a guild hall by buying whatever he needs with donations, then by all means.

You're right though, I did shift off topic alot. I tend to drone.
