Unlocking In Order- Runes, SKills & Upgrades - Guild Wars Forums

Hello There.

I'm very confused here.

Question1: Do I have to unlock skills in order? Say do I have to unlock all ranger non elites to be able to buy the ranger elites? Or can I buy them straight off?

Question2|: How does the unlocking runes in order work? Do I have to unlock minor and major vigor to be able to buy superior vigor?

Question3: Do skills you already unlocked on different characters count? Like do they say " known" next to the skill, if they have already been unlocked on different characters?

Q1: Nope, you can unlock skills in any order as long as you have the right amount of Faction points.

Q2: yes

Q3: skill unlocks are account wide

Another question regarding the unlocking of runes; When you buy a rune from the rune trader, which you haven't unlocked yet, will it be available then for your pvp character or not?

No, Runes you buy do not get unlocked.

Unless you buy them from a priest of balthazar, using faction points.
