Default Technique: Managing Camera during Melee

[This is most specifically an issue for my front line characters W/*]

My greatest struggle in GW comes with the obfuscation of my character during crowd control. This makes it difficult to time moves, negotiate relative positioning to your target foe ( maintain shield facing position or shuttling to foes low armor side etc ) or even, god forbid, finish a kill and not notice you are idle for a second or two; when seconds are the difference between life and death, for both/either you and/or your teammates. This is exacerbated by the relative size of my current build: Female of the smallest scale.

Other than increasing the size/appearance of your character ( which would likely be a great help ), what techniques ( camera or otherwise ) do you use to keep your character from becoming obscured in a crowd or during truly confused, hand-to-hand fighting in a pitched battle?

i use the target health bar to check whether i have a target or not. and if you're blocked by other objects, you would not see the damage u dealt to the enemies.

If I'm in a mob of over 5 enemies, I zoom out as much as I need to in order to see all of them. I watch the enemy health bar and my party health bar to keep track of both sets of health (I rarely use my real health bar, party is right next to target so it's just easier.) This way I never have to keep an eye on my avatar, just my health and the health of my target. Also, looking at the party window allows me to see when I need to cast Order of the Vampire or Well of Blood and heal my party.

Thanks for the input folks, I truly appreciate it. I will play around a bit more and post some video supported feedback if I am still encountering difficulties.

Brother Mhenlo:
I believe you may have inadvertently posted to the wrong thread. There is no complaint mentioned -camera, implementation, UI, AI, design or otherwise. I have asked for GW gamers to reveal their personal techniques in navigating the UI during close combat.
Or did you mean to post an insult to my intelligence, in lieu of provocation?

Suggestion: Consider grammar school level studies or enrollment in an appropriate ESL program ( both can be sourced through your local school board ) as a vehicle to a level of language comprehension conducive to communicating with live human beings.

On an aside...

I've, complaining, think, you, little, rolly[is this a word?] , your, necessity

Not too bad; only 20% of your post was miss spelled.

Your grammar, on the other hand leaves quite a bit to be desired. Extensive fragmentation and erroneous punctuation aside, my recommendation is to stay away from subordinating conjunctions; you are not ready for them.
...maybe once your testicles have dropped.
