Chaos Axe Questions - Guild Wars Forums

I'm looking to get a chaos axe in the new future and I have some questions about it... What is its max damage? Does it have any elemental damage already on it like a fiery dragon sword does? How much does a max damage one cost now days? Is it true I can make it glow black? Thanks for you time.

Max damage for all axes is 6-28.
No elemental benefits.
Not sure - they used to be cheap, but drops may have been nerfed since then.
I don't know how to make it glow black... It wouldn't look that cool, to tell you the truth. You can make it look all sorts of different colors though. My friend's is green... and that looks pretty cool.

Same speed as swords, lower base damage.
Ive got 4 killer axes, never have used one. I use sword.
