Default Elite Skill Question

Dwarven Battle Stance Elite Skill
For 3-9 seconds, if they hit, your hammer attacks interrupt your target. Dwarven Battle Stance ends if you use a skill.

Why is this a skill that has the Attribute of Strength and not the Attribute of Hammer? I can not see why this is for Strength....considering it is dealing with a hammer...?

Its a stance. The weapon attributes contain no stances.

But it still makes no sense to me why it is Strength? I feel that if it uses the Attribute for Strength, it should be for mainly a neutral reason, such as sprint (example) But considering it mainly deals with the weapon of a hammer, I would see Hammer Mastery being the better choice in my opinion.

You are transfering into a position of strength. The stance is used in order to put enough strength into attacks to be able to get the same strength a dwarf would have.

Its the same with the reposites, its not just a sword attack, its a tactical position.

It works the same for Riposte and Deadly Riposte. Both skills require that you wield a sword , but are under Tactics. Go figure.

I know what you are saying, and yes I would agree that it is a position in that, but I still have a disagreement with the fact that it is for only Hammers, and uses Strength attributes, instead of hammer mastery, because to me, you need to hammer mastery to disrupt or interrupt your target...I don't know if you see where I am coming from with just not fully understanding that logic

I know exactly what you're saying. In reality its not the most logical thing, but they just don't put stances into the weapon masteries. Axes get left out though :P
