Default Frozen soil skill on thirsty river

Does using the skill "frozen soil" on the thirsty river mission work?

Frozen soil prevents dead creatures within its range being ressurected but does it help against the priests?

I got the skill from marhans grotto (after thirsty river of course) and was just wondering about it.

TIA

Well...the priests aren't using a skill, they are using the rez shrine, which they will use every 2 minutes. I'm not sure, but I wouldn't think it would work for that reason. Its pretty easy to get to the first boss guy, so go ahead and try it out. I didn't think this skill was worth a skill point and so don't have it yet to try it.
