Default HoH, UW, FoW expl pls

I've searched in vain for a thorough explanation of these areas. So could anyone tell me please:

How to get into the underworld, and what you can do once there
ditto for the fissure of woe
and how to get to the HoH, and what happens if you win.

The only idea i have from this site is that it is connected with the tomb of primeval kings somehow...

Could someone spare the time to write a fairly thorough explanation of all this please? And if it's good enough, can it then be stickied / incorporated into the site somewhere?

I apologise in advance if what i'm asking for exists - i would have expected it to, but like i said i haven't actually been able to find anything comprehensive.

UW/FoW are explorable areas with quests and good drops(supposedly). You can get to them via Temple of Ages but only when your country has favor(holds the hall). You do this by talking to one of the spirits in ToA and paying 1plat entrance fee.

HoH is Hall of Hero's it's the final area in the Tombs Run. Holding the hall is what players refer to as winning the hall repeatedly.

Right on the money. One addition though, you can now only get into UW/FoW with an ascended character.

Just FYI, to get to the HoH with a roleplaying character, you must ascend and then walk to the zone just outside the dragon's lair.

Entrance Fee: 1 platinum for the entire group

Group Size Allowed: 8 players max, recommend at least 5 players (henchmen not allowed)

Time to Complete: 4+ hours (I lost track at 5 hours in)

Requirements to enter: Ascension and Country favor in Hall of Heroes

Failure Requirements: Entire team dies or loss of favor in Hall of Heroes

Recommended classes: None, all work well here if the team works well

Reward: Ectoplasms and (name forgotten)



Hall of Heroes:

Entrance Fee: None

Group size allowed: 8 players max

Time to complete: No determinable limit

Requirements to enter: Access to Tomb of Primevial Kings

Failure Requirements: Entire team dies

Reward: Rare item and Favor for country

just a thought, but..... I'm pretty sure the one time i was actually in underworld (admittedly not an expert on the subject) but when we were in about 30 or so america lost favor and we didn't all die/mission failed/kicked out.... we contiued playing (until i crshed out that is) also when trying to get a full guild group to ToA before being able to go in we were watching the wins scroll up and remember being told that as long as we got in before europe won their next match we would be able to play. (needless to say we were re-skilling when we lost favor and thus could not go into UW)

maybe it was a rarity for my group then...because i'm fairly sure that we lost favor and then were kicked out of FoW...though I am human and not error-free (you'll have to wait for the next generation and see if they are)

I haven't done Tombs enough to actually win, so heres what I know so far:
- your team fights high level PvE enemies
- your team fights 1-5 other teams in a Priest/Altar/Relic/Obelisk battle.

...i never got past that. Anyone? What's the Hall like? I'm safer asking here than on my team. ha!

Allow 4 hours for Fow and upwardly of 7 for UW(in one sitting)

Loss of favor does NOT cause you to be kicked out.

Entire mission failures that cause you to be kicked can include..
Loss of Party
Ghost dies(fow)
Reapder dies(UW)
Single Griffon Dies(Fow)

Party Mix is critical. Make sure that you all know what skills you have equipped and how to play

The usual Mix I play with in the UW(just what works well 4 me) is
2XWarrior
1Xprot monk
1X healing/prot Monk
1Xhealing monk
1Xmes/E
2Xe

For Fow you dont need 3X monks. so use anyone.

The list of what skills people take is endless, but these are a few I think work well.

Ele skills include Maelstrom, Meteor shower
For Mes skills I always have a place for shatter Hex
Warriors, defensive stances
Prot Monk, life barrier, prot spirit, healing seed, aegis
Healing Monk Heal other
Everyone Take Res.

The above is what works for me, of course it is all possible with all rangers for example. But skill matching is essential.

Thanks for all the info. I live in the UK, though, and i've only ever twice seen Europe holding the hall...so this essentially means i can't access these areas, right? I can only hope that the system changes soon, or that players more skillful than I can get the damn americans and koreans out of the HoH.

Europe normally holds favour sometimes after 10pm or so, my guild and I think this is when dinner is served in the US, you can correct me if im wrong but when we have favour it's always evening time

You do know however that there are about 4 different time zones in the U.S and Canada so it would all depend if you live on East coast, central East central,West or West coast.

If you live on East coast then Europe is 6 hours later. (Ex 12p.m in NewYork = 6 p.m Europe)
