"The skill monitor now displays skill warm-up using a progress bar.

The skill monitor now uses animations to indicate when a skill completes successfully or is interrupted during casting. "

What do these exactly meen? Is the skill monitor the mini icon that shows you what skill the enemy is using?

What animations ? How does it show when a skill is warming up?

Please answer.

Best Regards, Ashleigh.

The icon now has a progress bar next to it that shows the activation time of the skill being used. Furthermore, multiple skills can show at the same time, the icons can stack, showing an ongoing stance such as Whirling Dervish being used while the ranger plants a trap, so you can have an idea of what may/may not work to interrupt and/or hit your target.

yes, it's the thing that shows what the target is using.

A very interesting dynamic added to the game. No more counting out a target's skill usage in your head to try and avoid an interrupt. Or vice-versa.

Seems like a way to reel in more casual gamers. Instead of having to anticipate what someone will do (strategy anyone?) you can just click on them instead.

Breaks the whole fantasy RPG immersion thing, y'know? Fighting looks more like Mortal Combat than Lord of the Rings.

I really like it...it helps a ton with interrupting skills, especially in PvE. The whole "fade in fade out" skill ID of old was way too hard to predict.
