I don't know but i've read alot of threads concerning and saying it's an anti-bot kind of thing but some people disagree on this and it's not true claiming that he always gets purples and golds no matter how many times he has farmed at the same location. Can somebody confirm this for me?

Yes it is true. You even get an in-game notification about it.

i have yet to see that notification message in the global, but it is true you can farm too much in areas and the drops become crappy, the best thing to do is go farm another area or two, or even stay away for a few days and come back and it will be good again, also i believe, the amout of people farming a certain area also affects the drops, tho i don't know if it makes that much of a differance.

I have farmed the hell out of some areas with one character to see crap for drops, then switched to another and it was like the drops started all over again .

ahh ok i see, heh i have never farmed that way i usually go thru the whole zone, then zone and turn around and go back in, doing the first group then zoning and doing that again just seems a waste. I believe the drops would be better if you just ran around the zone and kill a lot of groups if not all of them.

Someone mentioned to me that completing a quest will reset whatever happens to reduce your loot. Anyone know if this is correct?
