Question Simple question....

It is a simple question and I would appreciate it if any of you can answer it.

I bought Guild Wars and played it and I liked it but its missing some big mmorpgs elements like events, mining, etc...

Something like from Final Fantasy 11 where you had a lot of things to do or like World Of Warcraft which is enriched with mmorpg elements in it.

I'm not asking for a fight or anything but I really wish that in the future of Guild Wars, we get expansion that really expands the game as in mmorpgs elements.

Now my questions:

1) Are we going to get full mmorpgs experiences soon if the future of Guild Wars?

2) Is the level cap ever going to increase? This one problem is bugging me so much in Guild Wars, why 20 only? At least make it 50 so I actually have soething to do.

So is there any future expansions that are implementing any of this? It doesn't have to be in one expansion which is soon coming I heard, it could be in the 3rd expansion but are we going to get it? As long as they are implementing mmorpgs elements in every expansion slowly by slowly, I wouldn't mind and the level increase in one of the future expansions.

Thank you very much.

I'm going to start playing soon again.

P.S. the boss fights in this game are easy? Its like there is no point of party raids?

1. These features have not been announced for Factions as far as I know, but GW has a head start when it comes to queing for a quest, no spawn raiding etc. These features of MMORPG may not be included, but I hardly miss them
2. The level cap will not increase in Factions, but Anet is keeping the option open for down the road.

3. The bosses in the game can be hard and easy, it really depends on whether or not you have a good team. And a good team can be hard to find these days. The main objective of the game is not level, but skill. Switching your skills around will allow you to counter some builds, and be countered by others. The majority of the game really just starts after you have ascended and are lvl 20.

Any information about chapter 3 is still unknown, we are still waiting more info on chapter 2 for now.

Thanks, it helped. I hope level increase comes along. Anyways, I really appreciate that you took you time and answered.

I still do hope they implement mmorpgs elements in this game though because this game is suppose to be an mmorpg game so missing them is just not fun. Right now in my honest opinion, Guild Wars is more like action 1 player rpg with bigger worlds.

The part that I like the most about mmorpgs is the parts that are missing in this games. That's the reason Iplay mmorpgs anyways, waiting in line for quests, repawning, like you stated is fun.

Anyways, those are all in my opinion and I appreciate your answers, thanks.

P.S. I want to play this game and I'm having fun but there is something mossing. I want to play it yet I want to leave it.

I have that problem.

Can't wait for the Faction expansion, from the sound of it from this forums, what I heard, it looks fun as hell. Ritualist and Assasin, shit, nice, two new classes.

It is actually billed as something like a CORPG, not MMORPG. I hope they never increase the level nor add swimming, fishing and such to it. The game is skill-based, not loot and level based. Nor is it based on endless grind. There's a lot to do now for a level 20 and more is coming in chapter 2. Increasing the level just increases the grind to get to max level.

And how is waiting in line for a quest or spawn any fun? With GW grab guildies or henchies and go, why waste the time?

except for game magazines/sites calling it an MMORPG it isnt.

the company site states clearly it is not an MMORPG

however (my comment now) the game is just getting started and i expect them to flesh out the bones in following chapters

the game is DESIGNED to avoid the things like this that i despise

camping
lines for quests
ganking
etc

as far as meaningless levels go

i am level 1 and have a level 1 fireball that kills the level 2 monsters in 2-3 hits.
i am level 5 and have a level 5 fireball that kills the level 7 monsters in 2-3 hits.
i am level 10 and have a level 10 fireball that kills the level 12 monsters in 2-3 hits.
i am level 20 and have a level 20 fireball that kills the level 22 monsters in 2-3 hits.
i am level 40 and have a level 40 fireball that kills the level 42 monsters in 2-3 hits.

LOOK AT MY GREAT PROGRESS

where is the increase in challenge?

where is anything changing except the number?

THE ONLY THING THE NUMBER WOULD GIVE IS BRAGGING RIGHTS TO HOW LONG YOU PLAYED NOT HOW GOOD YOU ARE .
