how should i discover the post sear map? should i pay runners to show me places are should i just wander around untill i find things?

Your first time through the game, you should probably do most exploring on your own. Do any quests you get; that should take you to most places you need to go. Just follow the path of the story, and consult an online map to make sure you don't miss any out of the way outposts or quests.

one way is like getting the most basic guide and going page by page through what they tell you to do until you come to the page that says game over.

you did it without playing the game.

exploring and actually doing the game takes more time but you actually discover things and play the game

it is your money and your choice
