hey guys. i just got back from preordering GW:F (

) and i would like to know how to get the special preoder items. i already got the box with all the keys and everything. BTW, if you cant get them yet, oops. i saw a screen shot of someone holding them and assumed...yeah. thanks in advance!

ok, go to first screen and go to "edit account". look for "add key" and put your preorder key in there. it will say thank you for pre-ordering or somethng like that. now log on into a town, and type /preorder
look in your inventory and they will be there. you can replace em anytime, so just drop em or whatever when u arent using em

Anyway, I've preordered with simply games (got if off the Guildwars website) and waiting patiently for it to arrive. But, what happens with the preorder items?? How do i get this key to allow me to use factions this weekend?? Are they going to send it to me? What do I need to do? What am I missing? Cna anyone let me know??

Sorry if it's already been asked, couldn't find a thread with it though...

I pre-ordered yesterday from a danish website, and I got the key in .pdf format (Adobe Reader) in my mail 5 hours later.

Hi i was wondering the same thing after this pre-order pack and send a email to simplygames.com from were i have pre-order CE and this what i got.

I believe you won't need a key for this weekend. If you've got Prophecies (regular GW), which I suppose you do, you'll be able to join anyway aswell as invite 3 friends.

The command you have to type in is /preorder items I believe./preorder is for the prophecies pre order items.

yes game.net is doing it. You have to be careful it says it is the preorder PACK. For example, GAME stores are NOT doing the preorder pack (or at least we haven't been sent any yet), so preordering there will do nothing other than reserve a copy for you. However the site does send the key out (i got it from there).

Check any webpage or store you preorder from and make sure they're offering the key etc. I believe in store there should be boxes that you get (not available in europe til march 31) but from websites you will get the keys emailed to you, and the box for the actual game will be sent out on release.

oh and you only have to type /preorder. It works for both prophecies AND factions, I have both on mine lol and you just get all 3 items at once if you had a prophecies one too

If you don't have an open character slot in your Prophecies (ie, GW) game then just send yourself a friend invite with a separate email address.

None of this has anything to do with the Factions pre-order.

You Work for Game? And you don’t know what it says on site of the company that you work for? Don’t want to flame or anything but its doest surprise me, every time I go to GAME store and ask a question I am the one ending up explaining what the products does.
Most workers at GAME product knowledge is 0% it reminds me Dixons when they try to sell you a PC and they tell you what it says on the Product decryption board but when you ask extra questions they haven got a clue what are you on about.

I think I will order from Gameplay as well.
I was still thinking in ordering from GAME, but cos there are a bunch of Noobs (and I told them this today) but today I went to GAME store and once again asked about Factions Pre-order and no one knew anything about it, then I ask could you ask the Manager or Supervisor and this dude comes and its even worst and tells me that I can Pre order Faction Today but I will only get it on the 28th of April, and doest know anything about a Pre-order pack

So I ask him if I Pre-order today in the store would I get a Key to play Factions beta Tomorrow and a Key to Play it one day early before the official 28th and he told me No, you come here on 28 and will give you the box. That’s when we can officially sell game on the release date.

I told them maybe they should consult there website cos all he is saying its not what its says on the site and he told me that sometimes on the site they write that they offer special things just to get people to order from there and then they say they run out of stock. (This was in regards to the Pre Order pack not the beta key.)

I told him even if that’s true it should not tell me cos I don’t think that the right way to run a business, at this time I was asked to remove my self from the store if I was not going to buy anything. Oh and sometime around here I call them Noobs (I hate that word

)

So I made my way to the Exit but I think I was a bit dizzy

cos I bump in to a stack of cheap ??5.00 Pc Games that was in one of these rotations metal displays and there was CDs all over the place.

Not saying what I done was right but this guys are so dumb I am surprise they have business. Most of there sales assistants spend more time on personal Mobile phones answering calls than doing anything else.

See Anet what you make me do cos of a damn Pre order pack. (It’s like a Drug this Guild Wars Factions)

I just notice this nice Message in RED

They must had a few enquires regarding this keys to post it on the site.
