this is a bit off-topic, but males and females are not different species. they are different genders. a male and female of the same species makes procreation possible.

Mommy said I came from the cabbage patch.

And if men are from Mars and women are from Venus...how are they the same species?

You can create 4 characters in the game.
As for what the male and the female looks like, in Guild Wars each profession looks different.

I know that in World of Warcraft, you can pic a look you like and then your class.
So people would not know what type of class you are.

In Guildwars, depending on the professions (class) you choose then one look at you and people would know if you are a warrior or monk or mesmer etc.

http://www.guildwars.com/gameplay/professions/

Click on the classes link on the left to see how they look.

7 out of 10 Guys preffer a "female" character.

4 out of 10 Girls preffer "male" characters.

Why? I don't know.

i just think that some professions look better as a male and some as female
my point of view: warior, necro, monk-----male
ranger, elem, mesmer, monk---female

it's rly what u think looks nicer

Actually, a male and female only need to be of a species with a similar genetic code and biological structure to procreate. Hybridization of species is far from impossible, an example being the Mule. In fact, it can be speculated many of todays existing species were created by hybridization somewhere along the evolutionary line. A full species in what you refer to is what happens when males and females breed exclusively within their own species long enough to develop a few generations that bear the same genetic traits (with slight differentiation of base pairs to allow for individuality).
