Default Why is warrior's health draining?

A couple of times over the weekend, I noticed that a warrior in a PUG had health that was constantly draining. Why is this? Are they using an item that drains health to gain some other benefit?

They just probably used a vampiric sword all the time and didn't bother to switch when they weren't in battle.

I heal. I don't mind it. Everybody has his/her own responsability and strategy. When I see a health drain, I heal. Necromancers do it, so why would a healer mind if a warrior does it?
I don't say that it should be, but who am I to judge? Some smart warrior use some sort of enchantment to counter the health drain

Vampiric weapon or -1 hp regen +% damage inherent mod.

(or you're suffering from a condition or a hex that causes degen)

I think it would be mending that you could use to counter the effects but if you look at posts on here about mending your opening a big can of worms

Hammer, swords, axes and rangers like to run around with their vamp bows. All can have a vampiric (life stealing) mod.

The degen is minimal and is typically only noticed in longer stretches between skirmishes. The warrior can self heal, but that is a waste of a skill slot and energy regen (lazy). It is much easier to change out the weapon to a non-vamp in your arsenal.

If someone forgets, kindly remind them. We all have forgotten upon occasion. I would prefer to be reminded than burden the monk.

basically the only times you have to worry about it is when you *aren't* going to be having energy management issues though. While I think it's polite to weapon switch between battles, it isn't particularly dangerous as far as the mission goes. Using mending can counter it, but with the upswing in the number of ai controlled foes using enchantment removal this can get ugly in the start of a fight, and you'll still have to remember to reapply after fights and after changing zones.

mending, or if you dont put attributes in healing prayers use wachful spirit (+2 reg even with 0 divine), thats what i often do when level pet and use simbiotic bond, or while using vamp bow in tombs
