Unhappy Dissaperance Of Nicanor Gannel (FFS)

The trader for the FSS is gone! I visited him once and bough 5 FFS's off of him. I then farmed for more scorched lodestones. After, when I try to him again, he is gone. I have logged out, waited a few days, and even went when we have favor. He doesn't spawn! Any ideas of how to get him back?

Go there again. He dissapears sometimes. Don't know why, but he just does.

Try it a few times, if he doesn't appear after several attempts, then I don't know what hapenned.

/agreed.

Some people have never seen him, but for some reason he's always there for me. It's just random, but I never have a problem finding him there. BTW, there's a rumor that you must have Favor. It's not true. He's been there for me but with and without Favor.

He's a collector in post-searing Ascalon which gives you an axe called Fiery Flame Spitter, usually abbreviated "FFS" ("FSS" = nothing more than a typo).

I hope that answered your question.

the axe has 15? % recharge on general skills, and you can add stuff on it, fortitude, or enchanting, wich makes it better than a wand

he's not always there, the spawn is random ( difference between he's there or he's nowhere )

the favor doesnt affect this

run there a couple of times and he'll be there

its an axe, with 10% spellrecharge, this is the nerfed version, there are still 15% skillrecharges around, but they're not cheap

Yeah, I went to get one there the other day, had to run there twice.

I think the pre-nerf version also reads "spell recharge", because the "skill recharge" modifier never actually affected non-spell-skills in the first place.

And "not cheap" is a bit of an understatement.

I used to think this collector was tied to your regions favor. But its been proven otherwise, my new theory is that he ALWAYS spawns but if you dont get to him quick enough he gets killed by those mesmer things that are around him. Thats my theory anyways.

You have to go alone or he never spawns
I think alone applies to henchies too

No, I always gone alone and he hasn't been there. But as I said above, it's more the exception than the rule. He's almost always there for me. I used to go often and grab several FFS's, but it's turned into more trouble than it's worth. Not getting the axes. That's easy. I'd sell them at 1k each, but got sick of window shoppers and noobs taunting me for selling it for 1k because they had no idea what it really is.

Went there 2 times this weekend, both just me and my pet, first time he was missing and the second time he was there. No difference in favor. Just random I believe as there were not any critters near his location.
