You'll never get anything back if you got sammed. That is clearly stated in the FAQ of the support section of ArenaNet. Neither will you get to know if the scammer gets banned or anything. The only thing you can do is to report him. ArenaNet will take care of the issue and, if the think that it's neccessary, ban the scammer. Of course temporarily. Oh, and btw: every time I said "ArenaNet" put "NCSoft" there ^^

To report scammers, use the contact support link on you GW startup screen. Include date, time, were you were, and screen shots.

You won't get your mini-pet back, sorry to say.

From everything I've read about this, scammers ususally face temporary bans, depending on the severity of the scam. Permanent bans have been issued for major scamming & repeated scammers.

He probably asked 50k but got 50gold. Hundreds of people have tried that on me before.
I just tell them they made a small oopsie and then they laugh and put in the real price. And then its all ok.

But if GW allowed me to kill people anywhere then those guys would be biting the dust the second they try that on me.

Nobody attempts to scam the Don without paying double for it

"Double Item"? What...

You can't do much about Scamming, because its pretty much at the burden of the person being scammed...YOU didn't check the trade window, or YOU trusted a stranger..etcetcetc

Lol, Diablo2's influence has grown. Soon you will see people trying to tell others to drop all their weapons, shields, and items on the ground and press alt+f4 to dupe them.
