Default Armor Preview

Does anyone know of any programs that let's you see a character wear different combinations of armor? Hopefully with Factions armor included.

There are online galleries--check www.guildwiki.org, as well as the Community Works forum here.

If you really want to look at it in 3D, here are your options:
  1. If it's a basic skin just find the first city you can craft it in and spend a small amount of money making it so you can see how it looks on your character
  2. If its 15k/FoW, take a trip to Marhan's Grotto during peak hours and ask someone with the armor to step outside with you for a minute. Usually if you are polite they'll be happy to.

If you have a spare slot, you can run through creating a char for PvP and get a peek at some of the armor. It's not perfect, but it's one way to take a peek.

The buying really cheap armor is good, too; I was curious how some stuff would look on my Me so I got some cheap stuff. It isn't good for fighting in, but my Mesmer sure looks cute running around town.

I spent most of the day today with MS Paint and the various screenshots of armor out there... just so I could guess at what my mismatched 15k toons would look best as. Glad the boss wasn't around! :P

Heh, too bad this could practically be an N64 game. Why does WoW get armor previews when their armor looks like crap while Guild Wars has decent graphics and no previews? Curse you, unfair existance, curse you!
