Question When the Preview Event ends do I lose everything?

Do I lose all progress with my character? Including armour, items, quests.

Yes, you do. Only the character's look remains.

No. You don't keep any physical item, but you will keep everything that you have unlocked available on your account. So when Nightfall comes out, the skills, weapon parts, etc, will still be unlocked.

From http://www.guildwars.com/events/inga...rldpreview.php

At the end of the event, all Nightfall characters that players have created and all Nightfall items they've acquired will be removed from participating accounts, and the Nightfall content will be removed from the live servers. So, don't miss out!

During this preview event, any new characters you create in the nation of Elona are temporary and will be reset prior to the release of Guild Wars Nightfall. These beta characters cannot travel outside of Elona, cannot access account storage, and cannot sell items to traders.
http://www.guildwars.com./support/gameupdates/

Once more, characters will be reset not deleted.

Skills will stay unlocked for pvp; but you wont be able to use them again til Nightfall goes live.

Skills will still be "unlocked" afterwards, which means (I think) that you can use them in PvP when Nightfall comes out. However, as far as PvE is concerned, you won't "have" the skills - you'll need to find/buy/quest-for them again.
