How to get the pet for Hero?
I give my Ranger Hero "charm animal", but he not used it.

Look in your party list (press p)
At the left side if the health bar of your hero is a number displayed.
Click on that number
A miniature skill bar (and health/energy) is popping up
Click the skill you want your hero to use

In case of charming: target the pet, then click charm animal.

Voila, pet for your ranger.

Heres another question.

Can your heros get rid of there pets?
Tried to talk to tamers but they will only take my pet.

so heroes can keep their pets now? i swear that they used to not keep pets as soon as you reached an outpost or town.
