Default Guild Wars 2: State of a Game In Progress

Hi all,

I would like to share some ideas for the next GW episode.

First of all, you (the staff behind GW) are doing a great jobs with the game content and all... I really like the quests and missions principles that works towards the story line and personal experience.

One thing I have some issue with is the "poor" interaction among the players. I found it so hard to find a party to join in a quest or mission. I know the case is not new, and many improvements have been made to address this. But after all this time, as of now, it is still a pain in the a.. to form a decent party. Sure you can throw things at people saying they don't know how to, or can say the system in place is not working?

Honestly, who uses the new party window? (that's how you see how bad an education people receive)

So, here are some ideas I will suggest:
  • How would it be if the party formation window is an integrant part of a quest/mission entry?
  • How about using a tab interface (maybe mix with check boxes) for a better "filtered" chat window?
  • How would it work to have a NPC where you could place your items for sale to other players?

Thanks for reading and consideration
