What do you expect? As if a paltry sum of gold can make up for the experience and player skill eF's players have developed to win the gold.

Its paying for a photo oppertunity, screen shots of your character with the cape, and the 'privalege' of running around with it for a while. If people are willing to pay millions for specific skinned weapons and armours for the 'status' that they believe it gives them then thats their business. As long as people are made aware of EXACTLY what it is that they are paying for, and what they can expect; and as long as this agreement is honoured, I really see no problem with what they are doing. They are just making a reasonable amount of money for in game items that they may have otherwise had difficulty obtaining, considering that they are predominantly GvG and pvp orientated.

Welcome to capitalism

Hah..there is no way that those guys are actually going to tell their members that they are just a source of income and wont actually be seen as a full fledged member, those people would probably think they get to hang out with the big guys and be one of the best, while in reality they would be seriously kept out of the loop.

I agree that if they knew there would be no problem, but they dont know. And one can argue that a little common sense would quickly make people get the message, but common sense is sompthing also lacking in Guild Wars.
