Default The Elemental Sword...Lucky?

the elemental sword.. i know theres probably a lot of threads that relate to this
but wow, iv been looking for one of these for about 5 months just going around here and there searching, chest running, iv probably spent over 500 keys already spread out over the times and yet nothing, iv been chest running so long and i haven't even gotten anything great from it yet, i'm a Rank 4 chest runner and i was wondering, does this title effect the drops that i get from chests? just like those keyless chests spread out over elona how if you keep opening those chests the rate of getting a gold gets lower, and replaces with a purple item insted, or is everything i get from chests completely random? but anyways my friend got a req9 elemental sword, and got it within 20 keys which he also spread over time. i don't know about you guys but my luck is completely dead and i don't think i'll ever get a lucky break at all.

yes, it is luck and random drops. i haven't gotten any either from ancient elonian chests...about 250 of them:PEven though i know they drop more in RoT, and less in ancient elona where i chest run.

yeah i hear they drop from locked chests in hard mode in domain of secrets, but going threw all those groups of margs is pretty difficult, i have an alright build to take out a few groups but if i accidentally agro another group then i know i'm finished. is it true that chances of getting an elemental sword is slightly higher to get in RoT?

I've had one ele sword drop, and my chest runner is a level 3 Treasure Hunter.

It was in an Ancient Elonian Chest in the Alkali Pan, right outside the Bone Palace. This was before the addition of Hard Mode, probably a couple months back.

Since then, I've seen no more.

try running ancient elonian chests outside in the shattered ravines or the posioned outcrops

A ton of elemental swords sold b4 came from the shattered ravines, I personally got mine from the posioned outcrops from a chest that spawned right on top of the sandstorm boss.

Remember that chest drops are affected by the monsters surrounding them to run in a place with a ton of elemental creatures like Stone Shard Crags in the Shattered ravines

woah nice find! gratz on that man, but i'm wondering also, when i use lockpicks in normal mode, are chances of it being succesful to retain your key better? or is it the same in hard mode? because my friend told me that he noticed that most of his lockpicks have been more retainable in normal mode, or does it more rely on the eqation of rank for treasure hunter and lucky title more all around in normal and hard mode, and it was just luck that it he was finding it more succesful to retain his keys
