Default Difference between 1 and 2 red dyes

Hey guys,

Why is there a difference between putting 1 and 2 dyes of the same colour in the preview window, and how would you go about getting the colour of the 2 dyes, (which you can't apply as you can't have multiples of the same colour) which is somewhat different from just the 1?

Because the devs made it that way.

I pestered about this one at one point to Gaile; I think it would be awesome to do two of the same color.

How you get the color depends on the color; you might be able to do it with other colors but it would depend on the armor and the colors.

My question is, why would you want to waste 2 dyes to get the same color as if you used one? Using 2 dyes won't make it darker. If you want that, then add black or brown or something like that.

It's not darker .. look at the pic. There doesn't seem to be a way to get the colour you get in the preview with 2 dyes. Even with white/silver/grey and 3 oranges it still comes out lighter than that.

its because of teh difference between like say, yellow+red and yellow+red+red. you can apply both of those and there is a difference. you can't apply just red+red, but it has to make a noticeable difference so it can work in larger combos.
