I am tearing my hair out at the moment. No matter what character I use or which hero skill trainer I go to, I just can't get that skill; Eternal Aura.

Am I missing something here? I tried looking it up and there doesn't seem to be any prerequisites in Sunspear rank or level, and no-one else seems to have this problem.

I think i'm heading for a break-down!

If anyone could help a poor mad wreck with no hair left, please do.

ok here is a dumb question....but is your primary or secondary profession a Deverish?

If you never activated/shown your Sunspear title on a character, even though you have a rank over Sunspear Sergeant, your Sunspear Skills will detect that you only have rank 1. Further testing is required to see if this affects skill buying as well. This may or may not be the problem. It worked for me just now. You sure you don't have the skill unlocked already?

You need to be at least rank 1 in the Sunspear Title to be able to purchase skills.

Once you've done that, you should be able to go to any of the 3 trainers listed above and get the skill if you have hero skill points available. If you don't, the Hero Skill Trainer will give you the option of buying a hero skill point for 1k and 1 skill point.

Once you get past that you come to the screen that lists all the professions. At the very top is one that says Sunspear Skills. Click on that and then you will see all the Sunspear Skills that your character has not learned yet. It doesn't matter what your primary or secondary profession is, you can learn any skill from that list (whether they will be useful is a different matter).

If you still don't see it, then check your skill page. The Sunspear Skills are listed under their own heading called Sunspear Skills.

Thanks to all of you that have responded to this.

The character is a primary Dervish with a Sunspear rank of 8 (Castellan). I did activate the Sunspear title, but only after I got to this rank. The skill is definately not unlocked or already learnt.

And gene terrodon, that's no way to talk about my wife! LOL

Thanks all, but I think I MP I was right with the bug thing. I did read that but thought that because I have actually activated the Sunspear title at least at some stage, then it would override the bug.

Are you looking under Dervish skills, or Sunspear skills? They are separate options within these trainers.

I definately do not have the skill, and am looking under Sunspear skills. The character is a Dervish/Monk. I am offered all other skills except for Eternal Aura.
Although I am wondering that if it is related to the bug, is there a way around it once it has bugged? I thank you all for your input but I only asked about this after exhausting all the above made suggestions.

OMG!!!

I feel like such a _____!

When it was suggested that I look under Sunspear skills, I thought that meant in my skills inventory, but when I looked under Sunspear skills when accessing the TRAINER, THERE IT WAS (very red face)!

Thankyou all for your input into this most embarrassing of issues. I can't believe I missed something so basic. Sigh.
