Default Multiple Elite Skills

I got a question for anyone, i once teamed up with a guy while i was just starting out, just got to ruined ascalon, and a guy showed me his skills in which he had 7 of 8 skills were elites. he said he did it himself by modifying the skill codes but i was wondering if this was possible or even legal in the game for that matter and if it is how can it be done

There are ways to have more than one elite.

First, if you capture an elite in an area, it will remain on your skillbar until you leave the area. If an area has several elites you haven't captured before yet can capture now, it would be possible to get quite a few.

Second, there is a skill that lets you "borrow" the elite skill from an ally, but just for a while.

Third, modding shouldn't be able to make an all elite skillbar in the game. He could have created a custom code that would include several elites, but when he tried to load the custom skill setup onto a character, it wuldn't work. He could, however, send you the skill setup by chat.

I'm pretty sure there's no way to load the bar with all elites. If you put one on and then go to put another on, the first one disappears.

If you know the template code system, you can make templates like 8 elites in it or 8 frenzy-skills or whatever.

Yes thats probably what he did, the skill code he showed you had 7 out of 8 elites, but you are unable to load that bar,So he just showed you that bar, he didn't really have it on his bar.

Yeah, those things are possible to create by creating a custom templete code (not that hard to do considering the code is just like a 14 digit long string that you can make in notepad). Also, if you use elite tomes while not having any skills already on your bar, you can load up your bar full of elites while in town (they will all be removed when you enter and explorable, but from there, you can be able to save the templete code).

It's a little tedious to manipulate the template code to show all elites.

But look at this awesome necro build.

One way I know that you can get 7 elites on your skill bar while out in an instance is to be any combination of Monk, Mesmer, Necro, and Ele and take 6 capture signets + an equiped elite and clear out Perdition Rock. There are 3 elite skills for each of these professions (only 2 for Warriors and rangers)
