Default Why lvl 20 ?

I was wondering why my character isn't getting higher then lvl 20.
I'm now in the Eye of the north gameplay and there are only lvl 22 or higher lvl's.
Im not able to play the game normally because I can't defeat the anemies.

What can I do about this?

Actually, lvl 20 is the max lvl that any player can reach. There's nothing wrong with your game.

If you're having trouble with quests/enemies, check your build to make sure that you're using skills that will be effective against whatever you're facing. And check your attribute points to make sure that they aren't spread too thin. You really want to focus your points on 3 or maybe 4 attributes. Some people like to just roll with 2 attributes maxed out.

There is a lot of good information on quests, skills, builds, etc. here:

Hope that helps.

Because the lv cap is 20! Eye of the north doesn't make the lv cap go any higher. Lv22, what're you talking about?

In Guild Wars, level 20 is the max you can reach. If you are dying too quickly, check your armor for needed upgrades or runes, and check how your attribute points are distributed. Try out different skills. Equip your heroes and upgrade their armor.

Check the wikis for monster information.

You are using heros or henchies too!?, not just trying to solo?

A group of 7 henchmen and yourself should be able to clear any zone in EotN.

Maybe I have picked the wrong henchmen or I am a wrong character myself.
I am a monk but I want to smite myself, but I am having troubles building a good skill set. and there are only 3 skill set to be found described on guildwasguru so that is my problem.

If there is anybody who can help me with this.?

It is possible for creatures to have a lvl higher than 20, but not players. For players the lvl cap is and always has been 20.

The Smiting monk can be quite effective, as there are a few skills that do damage and knockdown while others do more damage to knocked down foes.
your smiting skills are great against undead "double damage" but for pure killing damage you are less efficient than say an Elementalist.

Choose a secondary class to help out ranger for pet or necro for udead are simple choices.

Also if you are not already doing this then try getting your heroes to initiate combat.
If you lead then the first blast from the monsters will hit you and thay already like hitting monks anyway.

You run in get hit and back off a little heroes and hencies tend to follow you and break combat.
Be a General not a foot soldier, Identify the enemy ignor warriors for the moment get their healers and elementalists first.

Choost target and set your group on that target then back them up.

Well you've certainly come to the right place. This is a community of mostly helpful people who post builds and tips for defeating all the areas in the game.

For Eye of the North, try Eye of the North Delver's League. And in that section, there's a very good thread entitled Making Shards of Orr Easy that focuses on smiter builds.

There are other good resources as well, some of which have already been posted in this thread. The builds section in this forum, The Campfire, is another one of those great resources and is filled with a lot of very good discussion about the pros and cons of different builds.

It is most likely just because of your build try re-arranging it and then you maybe able to defeat the creatures you want
