Well I was playing yesterday and I had my very good friend ((Seraphic Volition / Seraphic Divinity)) hold 200k while I transfered it from my mule, then I transfered some stuff from his mule. Only other thing I did was play on a mission and look for some shards, other than that, there is nothing I can think of. So I try and log on this morning and says that I am banned for 160 hours for breaking the user agreement, just your opinions ^_^. But,I truly am not ranting / flaming, just trying to spread some knowledge so this wont happen to others .

P.S Yes I allready Sent a support ticket ^_^.

Increments of 100K are awfully suspicious and are probably one of the flags ANet uses to indicate a gold sale through a 3rd party service...

Well, hopefully it will get straightened out with the support ticket. From A-net's perspective it looked like you were a gold seller. You gave another account 200k for nothing in return. This is the typical gold seller transaction.

Since your friend gave you the 200k back (nice friend!), they can follow the transaction thru to the end and hopefully see that both of your accounts originated at the same IP address.

Nah, my 2 accounts are good, unless they're waiting for me to start something and then ban me.

You know, give me a little taste, and then take it away Q_Q

lol, our trades must have looked REALLY fishy if anyone was watching us :P... tbh

160 hours is not a first time ban BTW or as Anet said a more serious offence starts out higher than the usual 72 hour ban

eh long story behind her account, including other users using it for illicit purposes, hence the prolonged ban.

All of these remind me of watching the judge shows "She's a good person, never been in trouble once!", ten minutes later "six months in jail for assault", five minutes later "that was after a year probation for grand theft", and then on and on down the line.

So, any other thing that one should be aware of that makes it not so random ban happy Anet for absolutely no reason at all?

Not trying to defend her, or her account, or vouch for her goodness (tbh I just posted because I was mentioned in the topic, and was going to be PO'd if I had been banned)

but it would indeed save a LOT of Q&A's if they would give a few word explanation for every ban (I doubt people make these topics to amuse themselves)

Such as "You have been banned for: botting... harassing... leeching

rather than: "You have been banned code= 045, see you in 72 hours"

And the previous ban had been lifted an hour after it had been set, support said it was a "mishap"....so that may have something to do with the prolonged ban?

This is in my future: My wife and I don't have any serious amounts of money in game yet but we swap stuff back and forth without any compensation all the time. Sort of like we're married in game I guess. I think all of both of our craft mats are in my storage - she doesn't even have a xunlai acct.

Did I miss something? Who said you were banned for trading or the other two? Saying you breached the User Agreement isn't really saying anything at all. Being banned means you obviously have or it's been suspected that you have.
Was there not a code or something?

Also, if you're account has been in trouble before I'd think you'd be smart enough not to engage in something that looks suspicious. Even if it is completely innocent.
