PvE or PvP?

Generally you wouldn't want to be W/Mo though...

Hammer is great cause it can knock down ur foes, giving them no chance to hit you back. It is also a cheap warrior item to obtain(unlike swords which can go to almost 1 million for a nice skinned req 9) But you also lose out on armor(shield) and benefits of shields(+30 health, reduces conditions...etc.), which can be vital against elementalists.

Swords are great and the most work is put in these skins, yielding BEAUTIFUL results, but a HEFTY price is needed to be paid for these. They give you a shield supplying +16 AL and modded bonuses. Shields can also be quite expensive, although definitely not to the extent of swords. Mods for both of these weapons are extremely pricy as well. Swords do attack fast though and can be used in a various amount of builds. They are generally used in PvP and PvE. D-slash is considered a very good way of maintaining adrel. for skills.

EDIT: w/mo is good for farming solely, if you are going to PvP, the monk profession helps you very little, and real monks should be the ones healing you anyways, although keeping a healing deveice is a must in case you monk is under attack or needs to focus on other positions. Go W/E, its very good and provides a lot of benefits

W/Mo is fine, but NOT for healing. Do not waste attributes or skills on healing skills from Monk. Condition and Hex removal skills are nice to have, and they do their job with no attribute points invested. Consider the following for a W/Mo.

[skill]Mending Touch[/skill][skill]Purge Conditions[/skill][skill]Dismiss Condition[/skill][skill]Mend Ailment[/skill][skill]Purge Signet[/skill][skill]Empathic Removal[/skill][skill]Remove Hex[/skill]

Healing is done very nicely with Warrior skills.

[skill]Healing Signet[/skill][skill]Lion's Comfort[/skill]

As for Sword or Hammer, it varies greatly. Axe is also very good, and can be used in both PvE and PvP to great benefits. Sword is more for pressure (bleeding, cripple, deep wound), and hammer is more for harrasment (knockdowns). Hammer also does Deep Wound, which is a very nice condition to apply to anyone. Axe is great for spike damage, and Deep Wound with no restrictions. Sword requires bleeding for a Deep Wound, and Hammer requires a target to be knocked down.
