Why are there statues of Dwayna, Melandru, and Lyssa? What do they do? Would it be possible for these gods to get their own elite levels like Genth and Balthazar? Also, for FoW and UW would it be possible for an update to include shadow weapons for the new profession? A shadow Scythe or daggers, or spear would be cool in my opinion. Anyway just wanted to throw those ideas out there see what other people think. However, another bonus pack with more elite levels or something the Sorrow's Furance update would be really cool and add another dimension to the game and the in game lore.

The statues being talked about aren't for blessings. They are the eye candy in outposts like Temple of Ages that really do nothing but say 'does not compute' when you click on em.
I see them as an annoying reminder that things never panned out. And I always thought it was bad form to just leave them there for new players to notice.

Well, maybe someday Anet'll toss some content in there. In the meantime, Sardelac has a ridiculous number of topics where people mention this and suggest themes/monsters for the various dungeons of the lesser gods already. :P

They wouldn't fit in the style of game. How would you explain Dwayna's realm being a hack-and-slash fest like the rest of the game is? It wouldn't make sense.

The one in Sardelac actually spawns a quests when we have favor... or at least it used to- an avatar would appear and hand you a quest to go help reunite some ghosts....

Melandru already has her realm... We spend most of our time in it. As for Dwayna, shes the leader of the gods, and the goddess of Life and Air; why would she get a hack-and-slash realm like the others? Shes sort of a peace militant.

Lyssa, well, she has Vabbi.

There are loose threads in the GW world, yes.
It is reasonable to assume that all gods have realms and petitioners, just like Grenth and Balthazar, yes.
It is highly unlikely that any of those realms will be added to Guild Wars 1, yes.
It is conceivable they may be added to Guild Wars 2, yes.

Did I miss anything?

From a purely thematic stand point, NPCs in game worship the various gods, so that would explain why their effigies could be found throughout the game.

As for only Grenth and Balthazar having realms, well, I usually just write it off as the other goddesses being able to properly take care of their homes. Balth & Grenth, being guys and all, are slobs. When you or I leave old socks on the ground, it just smells bad - when a god does it, you get evil creatures trying to usurp you...

Completion (asthetics) And just pure making sense, I assume.
Why would a place where the gods would be worshipped, only contain 2 shrines?

Actually, if yo kneel at any statue in any town, an avatar of the said god will appear (scared a noob out of his wits by summoning Melandrus Watcher some time ago), but you wont get any benefit from those avatars, unless your in TOA or a town that has access to UW and FOW.

But if you /kneel in an explorable area, the avatar will give ''blessings'', either giving you a morale boost or boosting your health and energy temporarily; all that in exchange for a sum of gold.

doesn't really matter...
way a year and a half till GW2 to complain, nothing new is going to come until then.

besides, they get their own elite SKILLS
[skill]Avatar of Dwayna[/skill][skill]Avatar of Melandru[/skill][skill]Avatar of Lyssa[/skill]

i think that is good enough.
