If I still remember correctly, obs edge comes from fow endchest and zchest. And both have a chance of getting it non inscibable. As what lawrence said, they (non-inscribables) usually come with a deathbane mod.

Interesting,
Didn't know that one ... offtopic: was wondering if it is a "bug" then or did they put them intentionally in the game? Would be cool of them to get some non-inscribables out there for the old school lovers.

You are missing the point (as is the OP)
They don't drop non-inscribable with an inherient damage mod, they drop without an inscription slot at all with no damage mod (big difference between the terminlogy of non-inscribable and no inscription).

I wasnt missing the point. I said where do they drop with no inscription. I didnt say they had to have a damage mod. You assume to much.

my bad if i phrazed it badly. But i meant non-inscribables and without a damage mod. Should have said no inscription like what HawkofStorms stated. But it sounds about the same to me at the time of my post

My point is that timebandit's post is incorrect (since a weapon with no inscription slot and no damage mod isn't worth anything to "old school collectors")
