I highly doubt they would take action over something said over an unofficial forum. However, if you are barraged by a bunch of complaints/questions in game over the topic, something may slip.

So, why even go for a title that you know is going to take tons of time to get?

I think this is the least of your worries just yet. Probably should do a system scan then scan again. Possibly run a virus scan while your at it after you update. And after you do all of that, and if you got lucky and didn't get a key logger, yes, you can get banned for such a program if anet was to find out somehow.

And people wonder how they get hacked.
I can see you posting a month down the road about how you got hacked and you never downloaded any thing etc. etc.

Announcing that you have an illegal program and asking if it's safe to use it? I think the thread has said all it needs to say. DON'T USE IT. It's too risky for you.

I think people need to qq to a.net to change the drunkard title. It is the only title that basically requires a bot like process to be afk 10,000 minutes. Change it to you need to drink x amount of alcohol. Spiked and other level 5s get 5 points, level 1s get 1 point. Make it the same amount of levels required as 10k minutes. Which is like 3,333 lvl 5s and 1 level 1 or something like that.

I think they need to start a petition and get regina to let them know they need to change the title. I can guarantee they are capable of changing the title and changing the minutes already acquired to the correct amount of points.

Pfffft...
FYI - Most of these clicker tools were "invented" when some of you weren't even born. They were extremely popular when you were paid for surfing the internet. You were sat in front of your PC clicking banners and you got money for it
Assuming every type of this software is made to steal passwords from MMORPG games is utter rubbish

Whist such clicker tools have been around for a while that doesn't discount the fact that hackers have found the idea a profitable means to get their payload onto other's machines, not just for MMORPGs (although with some advertising as a GW Drunkard automators and the like MMOs are a target) but for other keylogging occasions as well.

I'm not not saying all key clickers are hacking tools, but rather that you should be wary of random software you find online

Well fyi, computers were not very pouplar, if very many people even had one when I was born and growing up. They were not in schools like they are today.

You don't just google something and just download it. That is exactly how hackers get where they are today and why so many computers end up with viruses. Especially when it comes to computer games and the hacks and things you can find for them. I don't know about you but I use my computer for other things besides video games so I'm carefull of the things I download. I'm not assuming every software was made to steal passwords but there is ton of software made for video games that DO contain them.

What is wrong with you people? 10,000 minutes = 166.66* hours. Type /age on your title chasing char and then think about it. It is meant to be a title gained by spending time playing the game whilst 'drunk'.

Not only can they ban you, they bloody well should.

I drank while vanquishing, my cries to my friend of 'call a target, call it!!! I can't seeeeee!!!' soon led to us not being able to see from laughing too much.

Anet have even promoted 'the right way' of doing it, with handy PvE whilst drunk skills.

Sorry just not my idea of fun, if you can't autoclick, I won't bother with that particular title

More often than not I get to into the game having fun to remember clicking a bloody beer every minute, should be like the sweety one so as to be less like torture

LOL, I love the attitude that I see expressed here and ingame. Basically the auto-clickers seem to think that it's impossible to earn this title without cheating. I've heard it many times from cheaters.

"Well it's impossible to earn drunkard without auto-clickers. It's A-net's fault for making an impossible title"

"Textmod is required for Cartography. You can't finish without it"

"Of course I have a bot for HFFF. You can't max the title otherwise"

Guess what? You can. Many people have earned these titles without auto-clickers or other helpers.

I currently have 3800 minutes on my drunk title. I only started working on it seriously about 4 months ago. Yeah, it's harder than sweet tooth, but not in the impossible category. Actually the addition of Pirate Grog to the game made it easier. Grog has a convenient little drunken counter with it that allows you to turn off post-processing, close your title window and still track your minutes.

If I'm in a pug in town and we're waiting for a monk, I'm drinking.
If my guildmates are trying to form an HA team and coordinating builds, I'm drinking.
Doing the strength of snow quest waiting by the end door, I'm drinking. (500+ minutes this week alone!)
In town trying to sell some Elite tomes and buy lockpicks, I'm drinking.
Waiting for the AB Battle timer to let me in to battle, I'm drinking.
Watching a good program on tv or or playing on the PS2 then I'm reaching over to click on the firewater occasionally.
Lately I've started using Drunken Master and of course I'm drinking. (Good skill btw)

If you want to petition Anet to change the title to a click-fest like Sweet Tooth then go for it. I'll certainly sign it!! But until they do, I'll continue to work on it the old-fashioned way.

The bottom line is this. It's just a stupid title. Whether or not you earn this title really doesn't matter much in life. If you want the title then work for it. If it's too hard for you then don't go for it. Sell the alcohol you've accumulated and you'll be richer. It's certainly not worth an account ban or risking a hacker.

Cheers! I love you <hic> man!

I honestly think it should stay the same. For all of the people who have gotten it LEGITLY, they just wasted 10,000 minutes of their lives (not that it's uncommon).

To change it and make it easier would just take away the title's value.

Thats all you need. Yes, you can get banned. Yes, It's a risk you can take. And yes, you can get viruses. It you have half a brain, you can identify viruses without even downloading it. Use common sense.
