Default Guildwars Portable

There was a launcher a couple years ago that allowed for Guild Wars to be launched from a 2 Gig+ flash drive--I went to download but the hosting server expired long ago. Does anyone have a copy that they'd like to host somewhere or email to me? Thanks in advance ^_^

The original program disappeared. I don't think you'll have much luck finding it, or no more so that other past threads looking for it have had.

That said, you can try this method posted by eljer or this other program written by AgvirtheSilent.

I seem to remember reading in a thread here that it can't be used anymore for some reason. I don't remember where I saw it, but it was around somewhere.

Don't take my words as fact, but I wouldn't be too excited until someone substantiates whether it is still available and/or useable.

You can just copy your GW folder onto a jumpdrive and it will run.

I have an 8 gig flashdrive, and I just had to copy and paste the .DAT to my flashdrive. No special programs or anything.

Same here, and you can get them for fairly cheap money.

You should be able to run GW on any drive that is 4Gig or larger. All you have to do is copy and paste your Guild Wars folder onto the portable drive. I have a 120gig portable that I use to backup all my most important files and I have also used that to play GW on at least 4 different computers (playing off of the portable drive too)... works great.
